After Dark

Ciarán Duffy (Vocals/Keys) Ciarán founded the band in 1990. Gigged mostly his home county Wicklow and most of Kildare for the first few years. Then decided to spread his wings throughout the country. Gigged abroad for a while came home and from then toured the band extensively making quite a name for After Dark nationwide. Ciarán's love and experience of the band comes across undoubtfully every night in the atmosphere of the gig and of course the consistency of the dance floor. 1995 RTE search for a star winner. Won recording time with Irish label Ritz records. Released two singles That's my Story and a cover of an old Ricky Nelson song Garden Party did well locally.
Gavin McCormack (Guitar/Vocals) Gavin Started Studying music at a young age in the college of music Dublin. There he studied classical guitar, piano and music theory for ten years. He has been working as a professional musician since the age of sixteen. A well respected studio and live session musician in Ireland. Gavin has worked with Brian Kennedy, Michael Ball, Eleanor Mc Evoy and Phats and Small to name but a few, taking in such venues as Dublin's Point Depot and the Waterfront hall in Belfast. Gavin has also worked with many different bands on the Dublin Scene over the years. Since 2003 Gavin has been a full time member of After Dark as vocalist and lead guitarist.
Shane Gough (Drums/Vocals) Shane has been touring extensively in recent years with Bluemoose. Through which he played the length & breath of Ireland, the UK and Switzerland. He is also a member of original band Froud, who in the past few years have received worldwide airplay and Music TV video rotation in the USA. Shane has a unique yet diverse drumming style and a strong vocal presence to match. He spent some time gigging in & around NYC with his first band Bunny, who also toured Ireland with The Revs.
Martin O'Neill (Bass/Vocals) Martin has played with most of Ireland's top touring cover acts at one stage or another. Bluemoose, J90, Nookie & Electric Lemon to name a few. He is also working as a studio musician for the past few years, recording with Una Healy (The Saturdays), Hogan, Niall Breslin (The Blizzards), Robert Mizzell, Roberta Howett, The Making, Froud & numerous others. Froud are his original band where martin is Singer, Songwriter and Bassist. They had some success with their first 3 singles, receiving worldwide airplay and Music TV rotation in the USA. Martin also is the singer with The Black Ice AC/DC Tribute but has the vocal range to cover pop, country and ballads. Martin has toured extensively in the UK, Holland, Switzerland, Italy & Spain.
